Can you share an Olympic marathon highlight?

I only trained for the marathon for 6 weeks before tapering because of the NCAA season that preceded it. It was some of the smoothest and funnest training I've done in my life and I learned more about running in that period than any other. Also the course was beautiful.

Was Yaseen really that slow starting out?

Yes bro. I wasn't a very athletic guy and just locked in. I ran 24 minutes in my first race and then ran 23 minutes around 6 months later for a 3 mile time trial before track so improvement did not come instantly as some people would expect. Learning to love the process and fail again and again are the only way this improvement could ever be possible.
